Securely load documents Google Drive as context for LLM chats
View Documentation

Overview

Google Drive is a cloud-based application that lets you store, share, and collaborate on files and folders from your devices, with your team.

Our integration lets you provide documents from Google Driveto a chat in Trelent. This lets the LLM have a better understanding of the task you're trying to accomplish, and typically is used to provide important or usefulcontext (eg. writing style, a form to fill out, etc.).

How it works

Adding Google Drive documents to a chat is simple. While writing your message in Trelent, simply press "+" (or click on the "+" button on the right side of the message box) to open the snippets menu. From here, click on "Google Drive" and select one or more files you wish to add to your message as context. Wait for the files to load, close the popup, and hit send once you are done typing your message.

We currently support the following file types:

png, jpeg, tiff

pdf

doc, docx

sheet, xlsx

You may notice that files are named as a PDF once loaded into Trelent. This is expected behaviour, and does not change your original file.

Configure

The only configuration required to use the Google Drive integration is to ensure you sign in with Google. We are working to add the Google Drive integration to non-google sign-ins as well, so stay tuned.
